Day 13: Victoria to Vancouver
An early start to get onto the ferry that takes us back to Vancouver. When we board we head straight for the breakfast buffet on the ferry. The ferry journey takes about an hour and thirty and is quite smooth. Before we got on the coach the coach driver had sorted out the suitcases on which would be flying home later that day and for which ones will be on the extension.
When we get back to the mainland we head to the airport to drop Bryce of, as he has a new tour starting from Montreal and ending up back in Vancouver. The rest of the party decide to get off here as the weather was not too good and it was better for them to hang around at the airport than go back to the city. Before Bryce left he had booked the remaining people stretched limousines to taxi us back to the Vancouver Airport on our final day.
We get dropped of back at the same hotel as on day one, the Century Plaza Hotel and put our stuff in storage until later that day when we could get keys for our room.
We went to the Water Front, Gastown, back along the shopping malls, through Robson Street and Burrard Street to buy gifts for friends and families. I bought myself a pair of Timberland boots, saved myself £20-30.

We were quite exhausted from the events of the past 12 days when enough was enough we headed back to the hotel to relax, read some books watch some TV. We did not fancy going out to eat so we got a take out from King Fortune Restaurant on Burrard Street. On the way back we also went to the organic shop to get some fruit and items so we could have for breakfast the next morning.
